Preserving darkness on an exceptional natural and archeological territory
Contest for the development of a masterplan on the AlUla territory of Saudi Arabia, with TER Agency, Projectiles, Ensamble, Setec, Franck Boutté Consultants, Aetc and Horwath. Contest won in December 2019.
On this exceptional territory destined to become a highly touristic site, we identified the preservation of the starry night sky as the major challenge of the forthcoming masterplan, both in terms of biodiversity protection and celebration of the night sky.
